Eco-Friendly Ways To Drive Out Lizards From Your Garden

Lizards are the unsolicited guests that will create a hassle in your garden. Even if they keep the environment clean, their presence is really unsettling. Lizards won’t cause harm, but they will make you anxious. Before proceeding further, clean out the piles of magazines, newspaper, and throw out the garbage as soon as possible. The nasty chemicals, however, could be harmful to your pets and children.

Here are some eco-friendly ways to drive out lizards from your garden.

1. Try the egg shells for their odor

A good repellent is the odor of eggs shells. These will make lizards assume that there is another organism present in the premises. Keep some eggshells around the corners of your garden.

2. Sprinkle coffee powder all around

Another effective eco-friendly method to get rid of lizards is coffee powder. Sprinkle the coffee powder on every corner of the garden and the places where they hide the most. They will definitely stay away!

3. Garlic

The smell of garlic works the same as that of eggshells. They will stay away if you hang some garlic cloves around your house.

4. Make yourself a pepper spray

With this pepper spray, you will irritate the lizards. Prepare a solution by mixing crushed black pepper and water. Spray this solution all around the garden and the places where they hide the most.

5. Onions

The bad odor of onion is another perfect repellant. They cannot stand the pungent smell of onion. Hang some onions around the garden and other possible entrances. Even better, keep some onions in the areas encroached by these little-unsolicited guests. The creepy reptiles will leave you finally alone.

6. Cold Water

Whenever you see one, spray it with cold water. This is one of the easiest and effective ways to get rid of lizards. The cold water will make them immobile for a while.
